"Never too busy" challenge

A thought came to me the other day: Since I love doing challenges, why not implement them on my blog from time to time to break up the monotony of every day blogging? Yay for ideas!I was having a conversation with a friend about how people are always complaining that they don't have enough time to do things they enjoy. They are always too busy to do something. When in fact, we always have time. That's why we plan. If something is important enough to you, you will create time. I truly believe you make time for the people and things in your life. We've all been given the same 24 hours to accomplish what needs to be done. Time has always been constant. There's no such thing as "I don't have enough time". We just misuse the time we're given.I'm calling this challenge "never too busy" because I like the gospel song (sometimes my thoughts come out in song form). So here's how it will work:1. In the comment section of this post, write your name, blog and twitter handle (if applicable) so that we can communicate further with others also participating. My Twitter handle is @Lucy_Pearl. The hashtag we'll use is #NeverTooBusy.2. If you're not on Twitter and prefer Facebook, no problem. I'll also post on my Facebook fan page and we can communicate there as well. Make sure you've "liked" the page.3. If you still don't like those choices, write in a journal. Make sure it's a pretty one to keep you motivated. Another alternative is Penzu where you can document this challenge online. Love it.4. Have fun. Seriously. Challenges give me something to look forward to doing. It also gets me excited about life. I have no idea why but it does. Let go a little and enjoy this. For 31 days, I'll come up with one thing for us to do each day to make ourselves "less busy" and to just enjoy the little things in life.So.....what say you? If you're interested, follow the instructions and let's get started. I'll post the entire challenge on Friday. We will begin Saturday, October 1st. To catch up on this if you start late, click on the tag "never too busy". Don't forget to spread the word with your friends."If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not, you'll find an excuse."
