Blessed to Know You - GG Renee

When it comes to meeting and vibing with people, I go with my gut. Whether I meet them in person or via the internet, I always have a feeling whether that person and I will connect. Like with most people who are special to me, the meeting is always a blur but their being leaves an impression. GG is just that kind of gal and I'm so glad I finally got to meet her in person.How I forgot to mention this, I don't know. GG is like the big sister I wish I had. She is kiiiind, she is smaaaart, she is important, lol. In all seriousness, when I was having a tough time moving on from an old love, she helped me. Whether or not she knew how much her words helped me, not sure. We would email back and forth just to catch up on each others lives like old pals. Yet, we've only known each other through social media.Recently, she came to Atlanta for Blogalicious and of course I made time to see her. I picked her up from her hotel and took her to Atlantic Station for dinner. We talked and laughed and laughed some more. It was a much-needed reunion of the minds and spirits.To keep it real with you, life is too short to be surrounded by people who drain you, who always take, or who always complain. How easy life would be to surround yourself only with those that lift you higher? Those people who want to help you reach your goals and support you genuinely. How awesome it is to be able to root for them as they venture out on new exciting projects and exploring all the possibilities of life? If you're only surrounded by that kind of energy, there is NO ROOM for negativity. Your life will be overflowing with love and goodness. You can't help but be successful if everyone around you is trying to be better.Anywho, thanks for being a believer and on my team. I am a HUGE fan of GG. You rock, sister girl.
