Style Spotlight: Solange Knowles
I can't say that I've ever been a fan of Solange but since she's come out of the shadow of her big sister Beyonce, she's blossomed it's a beautiful and fierce young lady. Not that they are in competition but to me, Solange's style surpasses Beyoncé's. Why?It takes a lot of courage to cut your hair, as Black women know. To cut it AND rock a super short do shows that you're not concerned with what others have to say about your image.
She's charismatic. Her personality definitely shows in her personal style. She's not afraid to be different and let it show.
She can appreciate a good weave and rock it well.
She gets bold with prints.
She's funky, edgy and eclectic...and she knows it.
Gotta love her.
