New Hair Color from Salon Saison Atlanta
I colored my hair a few weeks ago and I never really shared that journey with you all. Shame on me. My girl Tammi Dotson (at Salon Saison) has been straightening my hair all year. She does a fab job, I might add. Now we all know a trip to the salon is an all day thing, right ladies? I actually took the day off to get hair my color, lol. That big of a deal. No, I didn't leave the salon looking like the picture above. So let me rewind. First, I got a shampoo and blowdry.Next, my color was applied. I asked for ombre and I let her do her thing. Then, I have to get reshampoo'd to remove the color. A process called silkening (which is just smoothing thick hair before a flat ironing) was performed on my hair next. Finally, the curling. Not sure what kind of magic hair serum or flat iron tricks Tammi uses but my hair was LAID. True color. Now fast forward to over the weekend. I decided to do a bantu knot twist out. Pretty easy. Just two strand twist your hair and wrap the twist into a knot. The smaller the knots, the tigher the curl and vice versa. I greased my hair with coconut oil.And the outfit: Zara blouse and pumps and H&M pants. What do you think of my new color? Is brown better than black?
