Denim on Denim

I've searched high and low for a denim shirt. Actually, I'm lying. I was hoping this denim shirt I got from H&M would finally go on sale ($25 for a shirt?! *cries*) but I guess it's just too popular right now. Seeing that denim is a Fall 2011 trend, I couldn't wait to try denim on denim.Now I've seen it done... (photo credit: people.com)...and I love how the stars are rocking it.

When wearing denim on denim:

1. Make sure one shade is lighter than the other.
2. Add a splash of color.
3. Jazz it up with a girly touch.

I tried it this morning. How did I do?
